Human curiosity, technology support
A note on how this site is made, the tools involved and editorial responsibility.
Concepts in this work
Follow a concept to discover related writing and work.
This site brings together my research, work and questions. Behind its texts, interfaces and connections are personal work and the tools that accompany it.
“Human curiosity, technology support” is a short note on that relationship.
How tools contribute
I use artificial intelligence tools when developing the site and preparing content. They can contribute to organising research questions, discussing drafts, revising texts, translating between languages, exploring design options and developing code.
Their contribution differs from one piece to another. It may involve a few sentences, an article's structure or the development of a working feature. This note does not mean that everything on the site was produced in the same way.
Choice and responsibility
I decide which questions to pursue, which suggestions to use and what to publish. Tool support does not transfer my editorial responsibility for what appears here.
Fluent writing is not the same as verified information. A suggested source does not replace that source. A generated explanation does not represent an experiment conducted or a result observed. This is why I try to distinguish methods, findings, interpretations and open questions in research writing.
Languages and images
I also use these tools to prepare texts in different languages, aiming to preserve meaning and voice. Nuance can still be lost and errors can occur. The original-language information shown with language versions identifies where the text began.
I want to keep the context of my own photographs distinct from generated images. I may use AI-assisted colour adjustments on my photographs. An image generated for an article should not be read as evidence of an event or an experiment.
Work that keeps changing
I do not see this site as a finished showcase. It changes with new work, corrections and better questions. If you notice an error or ambiguity, you can write through the contact page.
I choose the direction of the curiosity. Technology broadens the means I use to think, experiment and make.
